Privacy Policy
Data Collected
The following data may be collected:
- information that you provide when you create an account on this site
- your Fitbit heart-rate and/or activity data that you request via this site
- your Fitbit profile data.
Data Usage
Account information is only used to enable your use of this site, and to control access to your Fitbit data.
Fitbit heart-rate and/or activity data you request via this site is only used to provide you with a downloadable .CSV version of it, to display a graph of it, and to display information derived from it. You are the only one who can see this information.
Fitbit profile data is only used to attempt to detemine your preferred units of measure. If you set your 'Units' preference when you create or edit your ExerByte account, your Fitbit profile data will not be accessed subsequently.
Data Retention
Your ExerByte user account information is stored indefinitely. If you would like your account to be closed, please use the contact form. This will result in deletion of all of your ExerByte account data.
Fitbit heart-rate and activity data you request via this site is stored on the site's server for a maximum of two days, after which it is deleted.
You can de-authorise this site's access to your Fitbit data via your Fitbit user profile.
Data Sharing
Data stored on this site is not made available to anyone else.
No information is derived from your data and made available to anyone else.

All Fitbit data is provided by Fitbit.
Fitbit API authorisation uses djchen's oauth2-fitbit, which uses the PHP League's OAuth 2.0 Client.
Graphs are produced using Google Charts.
